Materials on Sytex Desktop
From the Sytex desktop you get the module's full functionality. As a rule of thumb, set up operation templates, virtual warehouses, shipments, and bulk material loads on the web; then, in the mobile app, each technician edits the material operations.
Stock assignment and movement
Move stock through material operations or full shipments. In both cases, materials can go to or from a virtual warehouse, company staff, a technician, a network element, or a site.
With these options — plus the ability to customize each movement step by step — you can run installation, removal, or maintenance projects without losing control of the logistics.
Stock reports
Get up-to-date stock by quantity, type, and location, and trace the different locations a serialized material has passed through:
- Check stock from a material itself, in its Stock section ( Settings → Warehouse → Material stock ).
- The same Stock tab appears on suppliers, technicians, and staff, as well as on a Site or Network Element — review the materials assigned to each one.
- Open a Virtual warehouse to see its stock.
You can always export what's on screen to an Excel file: click the three-dots icon in the bottom-left corner of the window and choose Export.
For deeper analysis, you can connect to the database and build custom reports (average consumption, recurring movements, and more). Every stock report is always current, no matter when you run it.
