Technical Locations
A functional location is the place where tasks, forms or any activity will be performed in Sytex.
There are 3 types of technical locations to cover the different types of projects manageable in Sytex:
- Sites – Typically used for nodes or mobile sites
- Network Elements : used for equipment, fiber traces, FTTH boxes or any type of asset
- Clients : Typically used to perform tasks at home or corporate clients.
An activity may have one or more technical locations depending on your project. You will be able to see their locations in each activity and also, if you enter the location directly,
Locations typically have a status that will help us identify their progress, coordinates, and information specific to each location.
To create locations you can do it from the + button on the main bar:
To search for locations, you can do so in the magnifying glass in the main bar, or in the search engines for each type of location, which you can find in the left side panel > Locations:
