Getting to know Projects

¿ What are the projects?

A project is an idea of something we want to do and for this we establish a specific form and the necessary resources. These resources and forms are framed with the rest of the features that we have within Sytex.
The EDR, Sites, WorkFlows, Tasks and Forms will help us to realize that idea under a formal process and in a controlled manner.

Create your project

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a new project in Sytex quickly and easily. If you're new to Sytex, don't worry, you'll be in good hands!

Step 1: Navigate to the "Activities" section
Once you've logged into your Sytex account, take a look at the left sidebar. You will see several options, but we need to select the "Activities" section. Go there by clicking on it, and you will find a "Projects" button that will take you to the project browser. Click on it and get ready to see the list of existing projects, just by clicking on the search magnifying glass.

Step 2: Create a new project
Here comes the exciting part. In the list of projects, look for the add button with the "+" symbol in the lower right corner. Click on it to open the doors to your new project!

Step 3: Enter project details
Now, you will be asked to enter some important details for your project. Do not forget to complete the "Project name" with a descriptive name, select the corresponding "Operational area", client and start date. These fields are required, so be sure to provide the necessary information.

Step 4: Save and create the project
Click the "Save" button and you're done! Your new project will be created and added to the list of existing projects.

Once you have created your project, you will be able to add different activities, such as work structures (WBS), tasks and forms. These activities will help you organize and efficiently manage your project in Sytex.

And there you have it! Now you are ready to get the most out of Sytex and start working on your new project.
